UPDATE *** KEY DATES *** for the 2026 CHLL Softball Season:
>Registration is now OPEN. Click "Register Now" on the link at the top of our home page.
>Softball Registration Closes Sunday March 1st
>Indoor Evaluation Days - Dates and Times to be announced for February and March (Saturdays)
>Coaches Meetings - Specific date and time in March by Level. Time to be announced.
>Drafts will be held by Division between Saturday March 21st and Wednesday March 25th, 2026
All drafts shall be completed by Wednesday March 26th, all teams formed and final.
>Monday April 6th - Outdoor Practice can begin
>Games start:
Thursday April 16th - First night of Games (Majors & Minors levels)
Saturday April 18th - First weekend of games for Tball and Single A and Machine Pitch
>Saturday April 18th - Opening Day Parade! (more info to come)
>Hinsdale Central High School "Lil' Devil" Day Game - Date is TBD
>Sunday June 7th - Regular Season Ends
(Final make up games must be completed by this date)
>Monday June 8th PLAY-OFFS Begin. All Teams are involved in the opening round of the playoffs (3rd Grade and above).
>Saturday June 13th Extravaganza Day – In House All Star games and League wide Skills day - All Levels
>Championship Schedule (weather permitting):
-Major League Championship - Thursday June 18th 6:00pm at HCHS Varsity Field (all Majors Teams included)
-Machine Pitch Championship - Monday June 22nd 6:00pm at HCHS Varsity Field
-Minor League Championship - Tuesday June 23rd 6:00pm at HCHS Varsity Field
Final possible day for any Playoff Make up is Wednesday June 24th
>Saturday July 4th Parade - All Levels and all Players are welcome to march in the Hinsdale Independence day Parade
>All Star Schedule: the following dates are unofficial tentative dates based on preliminary information from Little League International:
12-Year-Old tentative start dates: District=6/26/26, State=7/10/2026 (potential host is Hoffman Estates), Regional=7/17/26 (Whitestown, IN), National=8/2/2026 (Greenville, NC)
11-Year-Old tentative start dates: District=7/8/26, State=7/18/2026 (potential host locally)
10-Year-Old tentative start dates: District=7/8/26, State=7/18/2026 (potential host is Rock Island/Moline)
